Kimono

Japanese tradition, KIMONO

Japanese KIMONO is a combination of four seasons, patterns, colors, etc., not only for yourself but also for expressing formality and sophistication while respecting others.

Today, due to the lack of successors and efficiency, many of them are cheaply mass-produced by printing. As for hand-painted YUZEN, it is said that 97% of its market is printed. Some of them take over a year to manufacture.

A KIMONO made from good materials and craftsmanship can be worn for over 100 years.

Just like the building in the old townscape here in HIDA TAKAYAMA…

Since you have come all the way to Japan, we strongly recommend you experience the one-of-a-kind “genuine KIMONO, technique, beauty” and “the process of wearing and the conduct of the dresser” made by legends craftsmen.

Gaining something through the five senses will surely be one of the treasures of your life!
